Intermediate/Advanced class in Scandinavian music

Expand your tune repertoire of Norwegian and Scandinavian folk music, and improve your style. This class, taught by Vidar Skrede, an accomplished folk musician and teacher from Norway, is for those who have some experience with Scandinavian folk music, and for those who are new to it that learn easily by ear. The class is also suitable if you play other folk music styles, like Old Time or Irish music. Lessons will be taught by ear; recording devices are recommended. Sheet music will be provided after each class. The tunes are fiddle focused, but all melodic instruments are welcome to join.
